Two Hubbel 24 port Fibre optic connection panels. They are server rack mount items. These are in a pair ready connected with 10 meters of fibre trunking between them. They can be used to connect server racks to each other and allow some 10 billion digital bits to be transmitted per second along the optical fiber link in your commercial network, enough to carry tens of thousands of telephone calls. or streams of digital data much faster than your current 100mb or 1gb links. Hair-thin fibers consist of two concentric layers of high-purity silica glass the core and the cladding, which are enclosed by a protective sheath. Light rays modulated into digital pulses with a laser or a light-emitting diode move along the core without penetrating the cladding. 1gb connection speeds are slow compared to this ultra fast connection between racks.
